The money raised from Jeffreys Grove’s fall fundraiser (their biggest fundraiser of the year!) goes toward improving their Media Center with new books and updating the AV system they use for performances throughout the school year.
They’ve done an incredible job creating nicely designed materials that promote the fundraiser and clearly communicate the most important information supporters and participants would need to know. Plus, on their fundraiser page, they’ve provided answers to frequently asked questions.
Tomoka Elementary added a twist to their Coin War fall fundraiser this year and it paid off big. In addition to collection points for coins in classrooms across the school, they also added a crowdfunding campaign component in which they collected online donations from the extended school community. The funds raised from online donations increased their total by over 40%.
Adding a crowdfunding component to an in-person fundraiser is a clever way to give an even wider audience the chance to participate in your fundraiser and support your school.

Plus, they’ve added a very cool and creative twist on a traditional raffle in that both the raffle ticket purchaser and the student that winner purchased their ticket from each win the grand prize.
